Originally inspired from wanting to ride micro small Mals, these clean riding, paddle/wave catching machines are awesome!! Take the nose riding bit of a long board and the tail of a short board and...well ...you get the picture. It has a flat nose entry with a moderate tail lift for the rocker, try-plane hull under the nose feeding a vee double concave out the tail, and rails that are upturned in the nose spiralling to a low boxy foil in the tail. It is a very easy board to paddle and catch waves with, very stable so you can learn to surf quickly and confidently and it's small enough so it doesn't feel big and clunky the line up with. Fantastic for new surfers and awesome for the experienced surfer wanting to mix it up a bit. This is the original design and is a single fin with two side bites (1+2).
Harmony Hull Quad....I also tweak this design by adding a bit more width to the tail, increase the tail rocker and drop in a quad fin set up.
This board features custom art by Chris, a custom resin tint bottom and a custom coloured pigment resin on the deck. It's dimensions are 6' x 211/4'' x 25/8'', is 38.3 litres and unfortunately has been sold and out surfing somewhere. You can however order a custom and this is pretty easy to do. In the past I have made this model in sizes ranging from 5'4'' to 7'6'' and as both 1+2 and quad fin set ups depending on the clients preferences.
Typically it takes about 2-4 weeks for a custom. The base price for this board is $930 and it includes a quality Burford blank, Silmar resin with 3 layers of Surf 9 fiberglass cloth, sprayed white and as a single box with side bites or as a quad fin, no fins
I recommend the harmony fin for this board or for the Quad fin version, CGA or B's...
